About Dachshund Outfitter
It all started with Freddie Mercury.
Dachshund Outfitter was born out of my personal design project in 2021. I wanted to design a coat for my dachshund Freddie Mercury that would fit dachshunds’ body shape and also meet my design aesthetics. I couldn’t find coats that I wanted and ended up designing few that caught the attention of fellow dachshund friends. In a year the project evolved into a small business based in Helsinki, Finland.

Susanna & Freddie
TEAM DACHSHUND OUTFITTER
Susanna has experience in the fields of fashion and styling. Her academic background combines fashion design and business studies and she has a Master’s Degree in fashion design from Aalto University.
Freddie is passionate about cottage life and enjoys his weekly appointments at Tassumafia dog daycare. His hobbies include snacks and naps.
Our Dachshund Outfitter team also includes our friends and fashion design professionals Kristiina (Design & Product Development) and Kirsi (Production.)
Dachshund Outfitter coats are designed in Finland. All products are made in either Finland or Estonia.
